Conduit Repair Privacy Policy

Our Commitment to Privacy
CONDUIT REPAIR SYSTEMS, INC. (“CRS”) is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of the information we obtain about our customers, prospective customers, and website visitors. In the normal course of our business, we obtain, maintain, and use business and financial information about our customers and those who apply to purchase on credit, as well as the principal owners of those businesses, and we will do everything in our power to ensure your right to privacy.

CRS does not sell or share customer, prospective customer, or website visitor information to mailing list brokers, marketing firms, or other third parties for their own marketing purposes.

The Information We Collect
While serving our customers, we acquire, store and transmit personal and non-personal communications and information that customers may regard as private or sensitive. Some of this information – such as the customer’s name, address, telephone number, email address, bank account, credit card, and historical business data – is provided to CRS by its customers and prospective customers on credit application forms and other documents to establish an account. Other information – such as the customer’s account status, choice of products purchased, transaction data, and customer logs – is created and maintained by CRS in the normal course of selling split conduit products to our customers. In addition, CRS may store customers’ electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.

CRS also collects information about customers and prospective customers from a variety of third-party sources, which may include but are not limited to financial institutions, credit reporting agencies, third party creditors, government repositories, and taxing authorities.

The Way We Use Information
CRS will use the information it obtains, whether it originates from a customer or prospective customer, or from a third party, to provide customers and prospective customers with accurate estimates or quotes for our split conduit products and related services such as shipping, as well as to provide information about products or services which might be of interest to customers and prospective customers. We may also publish names of customers and others who use our products on our website, in promotional literature, and in video content. We will also use customer information to provide notice about CRS office closures for holidays and other special events.

CRS will review, delete or block access to information or communications that may harm CRS, its customers or third parties. The grounds on which we may take such action include, but are not limited to, actual or potential violations of CRS’s Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

Use of Cookies and Action Tags
CRS uses cookies, which are small pieces of information that a web site can store in a designated file on a user’s computer for various reasons. We use cookies to track activity on our website, to serve relevant ads to visitors on our website, and to more effectively provide our products and services to our customers and prospective customers. In certain cases, we also implement the use of action tags (also known as single pixel gifs or web beacons). Action tags are tiny, invisible images that are placed in certain areas of a website. When a tag is triggered, the request is logged in an external system and is linked to the cookie ID of that user. Any information collected via cookies and action tags is completely anonymous.

Security of Data
CRS will protect the confidentiality of its customers’ information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of CRS, its partners, its employees and other customers. To protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information that is collected from customers, prospective customers, and website visitors, we have appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place to protect information including but not limited to data encryption, physical access security, and employee access controls. We continually monitor and, as necessary, enhance our security systems.

Opt Out & Modifications
Customers may opt out of receiving notices of new or spotlighted products from CRS by contacting us by phone or in writing. However, customers may not opt out of receiving information from CRS which is essential for maintaining or updating customers’ accounts, system information, or information relating to transaction data resulting from customers’ purchase and/or use of our products.

Disclosure of customer information and communications
CRS will not disclose its customers’ personal and account information, except in limited situations as outlined in this privacy policy, unless CRS has reason to believe that disclosing such information is legal and necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of CRS, our customers, or others, or where CRS is required by law to make such disclosures. We also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties any customers’ information or other electronic communications that we store or transmit for our customers. The circumstances under which CRS will disclose such customer information are when:

  1. It is necessary to provide service to the customer, such as disclosures necessary to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction requested by the customer or to fill a purchase order request;
  2. It is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of CRS and its customers and to prevent fraud;
  3. It is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants, subpoenas, or other legal process that CRS determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; and
  4. It is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the information is inadvertently obtained by CRS and appears to pertain to the commission of a crime.

Additionally, CRS is permitted under Federal law to disclose confidential customer information and transaction data to certain recipients, such as credit reporting companies. Other recipients of information disclosures may include financial institutions, companies that process transactions or provide other services for us, or government agencies. We may also from time-to-time use the names and/or logos of customers and users of our products for promotional purposes without disclosing any customers’ personal or account information. Any customer or user of our products can opt out of inclusion in promotional materials by notifying us in writing.

Conclusion
CRS is committed to developing long lasting relationships that are built on trust. We will do everything in our power to never violate that trust, especially in terms of protecting our customers’, prospective customers’, former customers’, and website visitors’ information.
