No, our split conduit has been designed to replace your existing conduit so once the repair has been completed the inside diameter of the conduit will remain consistent.  However, our split couplings are designed to connect our split conduit to your existing conduit.
Yes, most of the sizes* of our split conduit and related products have received the ETL listing through Intertek, which is a nationally recognized testing laboratory (NRTL).  Our ETL listed products have been tested and conform to UL 651.  All of the PVC plastics used in our products are also UL approved.  *All sizes of our products are ETL listed except for our 1 Inch and C-duct products.
We sell our products through most national and regional electrical distributors, as well as a large number of local electrical distributors.  If you do not have an electrical distributor or do not have one available in your area, you may contact us directly for additional information on how to order our products. You can contact us at 800-670-1804 in the U.S., 435-673-1804 outside the U.S., by email at crs@conduitrepair.com, or by fax at 435-673-8724.
It is our goal to ship all purchase orders within 1 business day of receiving the purchase order. Custom orders may take additional time.
Yes, we accept all major credit cards.
Our split conduit is produced in ten-foot lengths.
Yes, our minimum order of split conduit is ten feet, however, we will cut the split conduit into five-foot lengths at no additional cost to the customer to allow for easier and less expensive shipping options.  For other lengths less than ten feet, you will need to contact a sales representative for additional information.
Yes, we can ship our split conduit and other products with UPS or FedEx for next day delivery when requested by the customer.
We offer our schedule 40 products in 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch, 2 inch, 2 1/2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch, and 6 inch sizes. We offer Schedule 80 products in 2 Inch and 4 Inch.
Our split conduit can be used without using our split couplings if the sections of split conduit are staggered. However, we highly recommend that you use our split couplings with our split conduit to ensure the quality of all connections between our lengths of split conduit and in all transitions to standard PVC pipe.
Split Couplings are used to connect CRS's Split Conduit to itself.  This allows the user to connect and run longer lengths of our split conduit. Split Adapter Couplings are used to connect and adapt CRS's Split Conduit to regular round PVC pipe.
Yes, as long as the outside diameters of the other types of conduit are consistent with schedule 40 and schedule 80 PVC conduit, our split conduit and related products will work with these other types of conduit.  However, we highly recommend that you use Bonduit Adhesive where our split couplings snap over the other types of conduit to ensure a complete repair.
Our split conduit repair products snap and lock together with the locking ridges located on the sides of the split conduit.  We have manufactured our split sweeps with bends in two different directions so as to allow the locking ridges to always remain on the sides. Our vertical sweeps are manufactured with a bend that would normally be used to come up vertically as a riser out of the ground, such as up a pole or into a pedestal.  Our horizontal sweeps are manufactured with a bend that allows the sweep to make a turn while remaining in the ground and still maintaining the locking ridges on the sides of the sweep.
We offer our split sweeps in 24-inch radiuses for our sizes from 1 inch up to 4 inch, and we offer our split sweeps in 36-inch radiuses for all sizes from 1 inch up to 6 inch.
Our split wye's can be used without our split couplings; however, we highly recommend that you use our split couplings with our split wyes to ensure the quality of the transition from our split wyes to standard PVC pipe.  The split wyes do not snap and lock together like our split conduit and split couplings, so we also recommend our split couplings be used on each end of the split wye to ensure that the split wye is properly locked together. If our split couplings are not used with the split wye, then hose clamps, zip ties, or tape will be required to hold the split wye together.
Although we can't guarantee a water-tight connection, we recommend using PVC glue on the split couplings where they attach to a conduit, and by applying a silicone adhesive in the female leg of the split conduit locking ridge prior to snapping the split conduit together to achieve the most water-tight seal possible.
Generally, our split conduit products are used for repairing damaged conduit. Our split conduit products are also used to enclose and protect many different kinds of cables. Our split conduit products can be used underground, relocating aerial lines to underground, above ground applications, going up telephone poles, on bridges, in tunnels, and many other applications and uses.
